Our mission is to empower and uplift children in our community by providing essential resources, opportunities, and support that foster their growth, development, and well-being. We aim to create opportunities for young people, especially those facing financial or social challenges, through events, programs, and compassionate outreach. Through collaborative partnerships and ongoing support, we seek to give back and make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of youth in our area. 

The nonprofit was founded by family and friends of Aquiles "Nawlage" Espinosa in his honor. Throughout his journey, Nawlage (pronounced naa·luhj) recognized the transformative power of creative expression and athletic discipline, not just for personal growth, but for the betterment of entire communities. His passion for these areas led him to make a lasting impact on the lives of countless young people, and this nonprofit is part of his legacy. He was quoted as having said "Knowledge is power, even though I don't it write.". 

We serve youth in our community who may face financial hardships or lack access to essential resources. Our back-to-school and Christmas gift-giving programs focus on ensuring that children have the supplies and support they need. Recipients are selected through community nominations, partnerships with schools, local organizations, and direct applications from families in need.

Nawlage Is Power Inc was founded in November 2024. Founded in honor of Aquiles "Nawlage" Espinosa, a visionary who dedicated his life to excellence in the fields of music, art and sports. This organization exists to continue Nawlage’s mission by empowering youth in the areas where he excelled and found purpose — art, music, and sports. Through a combination of community events and engagement, we aim to provide underserved youth with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed in these fields, just as Nawlage did.

There are several ways to get involved! You can volunteer at our events, donate school supplies or gifts, contribute financially, or help spread the word about our mission. We also welcome partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.
