Our mission is to empower and uplift children in our community by providing essential resources, opportunities, and support that foster their growth, development, and well-being. We aim to create opportunities for young people, especially those facing financial or social challenges, through events, and compassionate outreach. Through collaborative partnerships and ongoing support, we seek to give back and make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of youth in our area.
Our vision is to be a leading force in nurturing the potential of young people, especially those in need. We envision a future where every child, regardless of their background, has the resources, knowledge, and support to pursue their passions, achieve their goals, and contribute to a vibrant, thriving community. Through our commitment, we hope to inspire the next generation of leaders, athletes, and artists to dream big, reach their full potential, and make a positive impact on the world around them.
Nawlage Is Power was founded to honor the life and legacy of Aquiles “Nawlage” Espinosa, whose passion for music, art, and community inspired countless young people. The organization was created to continue his mission of uplifting youth and helping them reach their full potential.
The Story Behind the Mission
Recognizing that many young people in Tampa Bay lack access to mentorship and creative outlets, Nawlage Is Power was formed to provide resources, support, and opportunities for self-expression. From workshops to community engagement, the organization focuses on building meaningful experiences that empower youth to grow, create, and lead.

What began as a tribute to a beloved leader has grown into a movement dedicated to nurturing talent, inspiring confidence, and ensuring every child—regardless of background—has the chance to pursue their dreams.
